Are there opportunities to connect with and learn more about Broadway?

Yes. We have many opportunities for you and your family to connect with the Broadway family.

On your first visit after worship you and your family will have the opportunity to meet our pastors. Pastor Adam will be available in the Atrium following the 9:30 am service and in the Welcome Center following the 11 am service at the Melrose Campus. Pastor Laura will be available in the Welcome Center following the 9 & 10:30 am services at the Greenwood Campus.

Adults are invited to attend Coffee & Conversation where you can tour Broadway with our pastors and ask questions in a relaxed atmosphere. We also offer a Welcome to Broadway Dinner where you can enjoy a meal with the pastors and staff.

Families are invited to experience Kids Zone and/or the Student Ministry on Sunday mornings for ways to connect with our family ministries here at Broadway.

Giving

Does online giving ‘count’?

Yes, it absolutely counts. Those who prefer to give in the offering plate on Sunday morning may still continue to give that way. However, making an online gift is also an act of faithful discipleship.

In fact, online giving can help us live into the Biblical idea of “first fruits.” Just like many of us manage our retirement or savings, online giving allows us to decide on a proportion or percentage of our income and to give to God FIRST.

Is it safe to give online?

Yes, it is very safe. Pushpay, our online giving provider company is a PCI (Payment Card Industry) Level 1 Compliant Service Provider. PCI requires all financial institutions to adhere to a rigorous set of security standards and undergo comprehensive onsite assessments by independent auditors on a regular basis.

Pushpay is dedicated to protecting the personal information and privacy, security and confidentiality of its clients. View Pushpay’s complete Privacy and Security Policy here.

What types of accounts can I give from?

You can give online from your checking, savings account, or debit/credit card.

Are there any fees involved with online giving?

As the donor, you will not pay any fees with an online gift. However, the church does incur a small fee for processing. It is most cost effective for the church if online donations are set up as e-check (or ACH) transactions rather than debit cards.

Can I make one-time contributions and/or set up a recurring gift?

Yes. The system allows you the option of either making a one-time contribution or setting up a recurring contribution that is scheduled to process from your bank account, savings account, or debit card at a frequency you choose. For recurring gifts, you have several options including one time, weekly, or monthly gifts.

Once I set it up, can I change my personal information or adjust the amount or frequency of the gift?

Yes, you can change or cancel your contributions at any time before the date of your next contribution. Simply log into the system using your user name and password and make the necessary changes in the system.

Can I give during worship?

Yes. You will have the opportunity to place your gift in the offering basket as an act of worship during any of our worship services. If writing a check, please use blue or black ink to ensure your check is processed properly.

You may also Text-to-Give during worship. When you send ‘BUMC’ to 77977 you will receive a one-time reply containing a link to give to Broadway UMC (1msg/request). Please be aware that Msg & Data rates may apply. For full Terms & Conditions click here. For the Privacy Policy click here. For help reply HELP or STOP to cancel.
