Volunteering in our community:

M.E.A.L.S. Inc.
Meals Inc. brings together volunteers from 13 churches, including Broadway, to provide hot meals every week to 175 people in the Bowling Green area. Groups rotate on a six week schedule to prepare and deliver meals. This grass roots community effort is manned completely by volunteers. Broadway is new to this effort but very excited to help be a part of the solution to hunger in our community. To join this effort contact us at mealsvol@broadwayunited.org.

Join the Solution, Craftsmen for Christ
Craftsmen for Christ is a group of volunteers, organized through Broadways Men’s Ministry, who go out into the community to help those in need. Past projects have included weatherizing a home for winter, building a wheelchair ramp, and assisting with Greenwood campus renovations. To become part of this outreach contact us at mensministry@broadwayunited.org.

Backpacks for Bowling Green
Through a growing relationship with Bowling Green's Family Resource Center Coordinators (FRCs) it was discovered that there is a population of children that return to school on Monday who are hungry. For various reasons parents are unable to provide nourishing meals for the children over the weekend. The Backpacks for Bowling Green initiative brings churches and volunteers together with FRCs to send a pre-packed bag of food home with a child. To volunteer or donate to this ministry contact John David Ryan at 843-3942, ext. 122 or send an e-mail to backpacks@broadwayunited.org
